We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our client's team in a hybrid role based near Malta, NY. This role is ideal for a high-level financial professional who thrives in a consulting environment and enjoys working across multiple industries with diverse clients.
Responsibilities of the CFOwill include:
Analyze and interpret financial data to build and present customized client dashboards.
Assess and enhance current financial systems and processes, recommending improvements for increased efficiency and accuracy.
Lead and coordinate internal and client-side accounting teams.
Serve as a trusted advisor to CEOs and executive teams, offering insight into strategic planning and financial direction.
Attend and contribute to both client and internal team meetings.
Design and implement optimized workflow processes.
Cultivate and manage banking relationships; facilitate financing and lending arrangements.
Identify and resolve financial and operational challenges within client organizations.
Collaborate closely with clients to develop strategic plans and success roadmaps; familiarity with the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) framework is a plus.
Prepare or oversee development of detailed projection and forecasting models.
Oversee and support M&A activities and financial due diligence.
Quickly build credibility with clients through deep financial expertise and practical insights.
Requisitos
Qualifications of the CFO:
15+ years of accounting and finance experience at the CFO level.
Proven track record of working in an advisory capacity across multiple companies within a management consulting environment.
Strong leadership skills with a passion for coaching and mentoring client teams.
Exceptional organizational abilities with the capacity to juggle multiple clients and priorities.
In-depth understanding of GAAP, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Adept at working in collaborative team settings, with a commitment to exceptional client service.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Proficient in QuickBooks, Sage, and various ERP systems; ability to adapt quickly to new platforms is essential. Experience with system implementation is a strong advantage.
Industry expertise in manufacturing and construction preferred, especially in job costing and cost accounting.
Ability to manage complex engagements while maintaining timelines and budgets.
Must hold an active CPA or CMA designation.
A combination of public accounting and private industry experience is required.
Must maintain strict confidentiality and deliver work with speed and precision.
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $145,000 - $160,000.
