Responsibilities of the Estimator:
Identify perimeter security project opportunities using lead generation software.
Respond promptly to customer requests for quotes.
Review project plans and conduct site visits as needed to determine specifications.
Prepare and submit accurate quotes for perimeter security and access control projects.
Follow up on quotes to determine project award status, providing additional information or adjustments as necessary.
Manage project submittals and approvals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Additional responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements
Qualifications for the Estimator:
Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Construction background is a must!
Estimating experience, including interpreting project plans and specifications, is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple project quotations simultaneously.
Proficient in computer applications.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $60,000 - $65,000, DOE.
