Are you an experienced IT professional looking for an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and a team dedicated to excellence? We are seeking a talented Network Project Engineer to join our client's team and play a vital role in maintaining and administering computer networks for our growing organization.
Responsibilities of the Network Project Engineerwill include:
Implement, configure, maintain, and administer computer networks, systems software, applications software, and hardware.
Troubleshoot and resolve network, hardware, and software issues.
Plan and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
Replace faulty network hardware components as needed.
Configure and monitor virus protection software and email applications.
Monitor network performance and recommend adjustments when necessary.
Collaborate with network users to resolve system problems.
Design, configure, and test networking software, hardware, and operating system software.
Requisitos
Qualifications of the Network Project Engineer:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
5+ years of IT Network Engineering experience with enterprise systems.
Strong understanding of network infrastructure and security, with experience in LAN/WAN environments (preferably with Cisco, Fortinet, Arista, Aruba, or Palo Alto).
Proven ability to administer and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewalls, routers, and switches.
Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
High organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly using documentation and online resources.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident to meet export control requirements.
CCNP or higher certification.
Fortinet certifications.
Experience in network architecture review, recommendation, and design.
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $100,000 - $125,000, DOE.
