Job Description

Accounting Assistant / Bookkeeper (part-time position - M-F; specific hours TBD)
  • Enter accounts payable and accounts receivable, and process checks.
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Manage monthly billing and weekly payroll
  • Reconcile general ledgers for month end closing
  • Weekly Close
  • Weekly Financial reports
  • Reconcile general ledgers for month end closing
  • Handle new hire information and worker’s compensation
  • Verify time cards and submit to Paycor operator prior to payroll cutoff 
  • Accounts Payable Administration
    • accumulate invoices and perform data entry, ensuring proper approval and coding
    • reconcile general ledgers
    • maintain the COD checkbook and process manual/COD payments
    • oversee daily deposits, maintain petty cash and temporary banks
  • Payroll
  • ensure proper documentation is prepared and entered into CSI system
  • enter employees into ADP and manage the payroll system
  • assist Home Office with the bi-weekly payroll and payroll compliance audits
  • Human Resources
  • orchestrate new hire orientation
  • manage health and life insurance, 401K
  • file worker’s comp/incident report claims and FMLA
  • process new hires, terminations and changes
