Job Responsibilities 

New Hires:
  • Orientations
  • Preparing paperwork
  • Backgrounds, drug testing, offer letters, etc.
 
ADP:
  • Set up new hires
  • Help employees with password resets
  • Help employees with vacation requests
  • Help employees with benefit inquires (QEs)
  • Make changes (ex: employment changes, title changes, mgr changes, add titles)
  • Run reports (weekly attendance report, weekly headcount report, monthly bday and anniversary report, misc. reports for projects)
  • Changes to employee's status, setting up codes, etc.

 BENEFITS
  • Helping employees with benefit questions
  • Reviewing the weekly EOI reports for updates
  • Review and audit monthly bills from carriers for accuracy (UHC, Guardian)
  • Updating changes in ADP
  • Open enrollment assistance for employees, including setting up benefits, reviewing changes, running reports, walking employees through changes, misc. benefits projects required (NOV, DEC, JAN)

 HR MISC:
  • Filing
  • Making announcements/postings (meetings, bday/anniversary), meetings
  • Following up with employees for questions (address changes, general HR questions)
  • LMS – employee assistance and password resets
  • Send timesheets to agencies and prepare Excel temp log spreadsheet (weekly)
  • Preparing write-ups for employees (weekly) & maintain disciplinary tracker log
  • Running and prepping Excel Attendance report for me (weekly)
  • Posting jobs to Ohio Means Jobs, reviewing resumes, contacting employees or candidates as needed
  • Misc. projects as needed

 

 
Job Requirements

 

Top Skills Needed:  ADP, Workforce, MSWord, Excel, high confidentiality, ability to be flexible, prefer someone in manufacturing background, and able to work independently

Work Hours:  Mondays and Wednesdays:  7:00 am – 12:00 pm *
*Can be flexible on the Wednesday schedule but prefer the Monday schedule due to new hires, temp timesheets due, reports due, etc.
