Our customer is searching for a Territory Sales Manager to help maintain and grow an existing territory. Candidate can reside in Ohio, PA, MI, WV from your home office.
Job purpose
This position's primary responsibility is to travel to meet with clients at their place of business to grow new and existing business. This position supports a sales region or market by providing direct contact with customers and internal departments. This position is responsible for maintaining current customer relations and developing new customer accounts.
Duties and responsibilities
Responsible for increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers while implementing strategic sales programs for targeted customers and prospects. Ensure customer requirements are met through communication between customer and internal departments.
Responsibilities, Qualifications & Skills • Primary responsibility is to travel and meet with clients at their place of business to develop new business and secure and grow existing business.
• Attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing and potential customers.
• Communicate our Power Message to all customers.
• Work and communicate often with current accounts to grow your business to meet sales goals.
• Call and qualify new leads from targeted campaigns, trade show lists, partners, and other sources within acceptable time frames.
• Prepare Customer proposals and quotes.
• Work with the Sales Manager to create an annual budget for your territory and explain variances in budgets monthly to management team utilizing reports given to assist in this process.
• Communicate daily with customer service to assist in the management of your accounts.
• Maintain CRM and other necessary sales databases with new and updated lead, account, contact, and opportunity information. Enter notes in CRM system to track progression of lead sales cycle.
• Create monthly territory sales forecasts.
• Identify potential errors or problems and take appropriate action to correct them.
• Care for company equipment and supplies to minimize cost and expense.
• Complete tasks and projects as assigned.
