Job Summary
The Manufacturing Associate is responsible for general laborer tasks processing fiber blankets by folding and connecting materials as part of the manufacturing process. This position offers internal training, great pay and benefits, and opportunities for overtime.
Responsibilities
  • Stage, lift, and stack fiber materials to meet customer specifications.
  • Process and assemble ceramic fiber blankets by folding and connecting.
  • Operate forklifts, cranes, welders, and power tools (training provided).
  • Work from elevated platforms such as scaffolding and scissor lifts.
  • Participate actively in company-wide safety and housekeeping programs.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work extended overtime as needed.
  • Basic math skills and ability to use a tape measure.
  • Must be comfortable working at heights and wearing a respirator as required.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices.
  • Must pass a drug screen and background check.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the Macedonia facility.
Compensation 
  • Starting pay: $18.00/hour, increase to $18.50/hour after successful 90-day probation.

Expectations
Position: Entry-Level Manufacturing Associate / General Labor
 Location: Macedonia, Ohio
 Shift: 1st shift (6:00am–2:30pm)
 Pay: $18.00per hour, increase $18.50 after 90 days. 
 
Overview
We are looking for motivated individuals to join our manufacturing team! This is an entry-level opportunity with hands-on training provided. You'll start in the fiber racking area, pushing, pressing, and rolling fiber materials. Over time, you'll be introduced to MIG welding—specifically tack welding—using a MIG gun. This is a great way to build solid industrial and welding experience while learning from skilled team members.
 
Physical & Work Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs regularly.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
  • Use of hand tools, machines, and power equipment required.
  • Safety-minded and able to follow proper PPE and safety protocols.
 
Safety Equipment & Dress Code
  • Company provides: welding helmet, gloves, and other safety gear.
  • Employees must provide: steel-toe shoes, long-sleeve shirt, and jeans (required dress code).
 
Training Schedule & First Week Expectations
Day 1:
  • Safety training (classroom-style) covering company policies, standard operating procedures, and basic plant safety.
  • New hires will complete safety assessments, quizzes, and comprehension checks.
  • Lockers will be issued—bring a notebook or anything that helps you stay focused during training, as the first day will be mostly instruction.
Day 2:
  • Shadow an experienced team member.
  • Begin hands-on work and production tasks under supervision.
  • Expect to become productive in the plant right away, with continued support from your trainer and supervisor.
