The primary function of this position is performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, preventive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives.
Primary and Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Makes repairs to production and facility equipment using skills in the areas of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronics
Performs preventative maintenance on production equipment and maintain logs using Track It software
Performs basic machinist duties
Utilizes skills in metal fabrication in the process of maintaining and modifying machines
Performs routine inspections on machines, systems and building as needed to maintain the integrity of equipment and insure safe operation
Adheres to all safety regulations and rules both internal to the plant, as well as, state and national codes in the performance of daily duties
Maintains clean and orderly work area
Installs and remove equipment as necessary to support production schedules
Uses electrical multi-meters, gauges and test instruments in process of maintaining equipment and troubleshooting problems with machinery and equipment
Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
Diagnoses problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
Detects faulty operations, operative material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
Facility and grounds light maintenance including landscaping, plowing, running air lines in production, light bulb changing and proper disposal as well as other light industrial tasks
Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization
Adheres to all quality and safety standards
Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned

5+ years of related experice in a Associate degree or equivalent combination
Manufacturing facility of education and experience. Preferred completion
of craft apprenticeship, vocation or technical certificate,
or equivalent number of years of education and
experience
