SUMMARY OF ROLE
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities. They will supervise, track, and evaluate day-to-day activities. The Senior Accountant responsibilities include, but are not limited to, establishing financial status by developing and
implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting information.
PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee Accounting Operations: Manage daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and month-end close processes.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local GAAP and IFRS, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Policy and Compliance Management: Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, including GAAP and IFRS.
Audit Management: Lead the coordination of external audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided and any issues are promptly addressed.
Financial Analysis: Analyze accounting data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Certification and Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, certifications, and regulatory standards, particularly in relation to local GAAP and IFRS.
Job Requirements
Education and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
Experience: Minimum of [5-7] years of accounting experience
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SAP accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Experience with BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation) is an advantage.
Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of local GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant financial regulations and compliance standards.
