Position Summary: Produces machined parts by programming, setting up and operating CNC machines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plans machining by studying work orders, prints, plans, materials, specifications
Programs and operates CNC mills and lathes by entering instructions, including reference points and tool registers
Set up and machine parts on Milltronics equipment.
Maintains specifications and quality requirements of completed parts by taking measurements, troubleshooting, adjusting and reprogramming
Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting malfunctions
Print reading skills
Electrical schematic reading skills
Parts list reading skills
Debugs machinery in assembly department
Keeps the shop clean and organized
Performs testing of new products and applications
Responsibilities may require frequent movement between machining and assembly activities as dictated by work load and priorities
Personal Hand Tools are required
Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or five years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Competency in machining and basic shop skills are required
Solidworks understanding and welding skills are a plus
