Alphanumeric is hiring a BENCH SCIENTIST - L1 to work in Upper Providence, Collegeville, PA with our client of 20 years committed to improving lives through medical and pharmaceutical advancements.


The U.S. Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics group is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our PK/TK Delivery team for a 6-month on site contract worker position. The successful candidate's primary responsibility will be assisting in the pharmacokinetic (PK) analysis of DMPK studies using both Microsoft excel and Phoenix® Winnonlin. Through working closely with PK team members the candidate will perform PK analyses, including study preparation, data analysis software, and data interpretation. Depending on the background experience of the candidate, the role may also involve the calculation and interpretation of TK data. The ability to work both independently and within a team environment is expected.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Input into PK and/or TK study design, data analysis, data interpretation, decision making and compliance.
Study delivery and oversight of internal and/or external PK/TK studies.
Competent at conducting and interpreting basic Pharmacokinetic/ Toxicokinetic data analysis.
Proficient user of Microsoft Excel, Word and Phoenix WinNonlin .
Ability to maintain data integrity and follow data recording, data QC and data archiving guidelines.
Assist with sample preparation for bioanalysis.
Previous experience in a PK/TK role is essential.

Job Requirements

 

Beneficial experience includes:
Non routine in vivo study design and preparations eg: long acting injectables, bile duct cannulated models.
Experience in managing outsourced studies.
Authoring non-clinical discovery and/or regulatory reports a plus.

Education Requirements:
Minimum of BS degree is required
