Alphanumeric is hiring a Insurance Processor  Associate  to work remotely out of Richmond, VA -- REMOTE


This position is responsible for the processing of monthly mortgage insurance premiums. The position requires the candidate to interact with internal and external customers on cash receipt matters. The incumbent must possess accounts receivable/accounting background along with related work experience. The candidate must be able to work in a remote environment and be a self-starter. Strong written and oral communication skills, self-motivation, attention to detail, and the ability to perform work under pressure of time constraints are required. This position requires extensive keying and is very repetitive. 

The Associate will research, validate and process requested adjustments to payments applied abiding by the policies and procedures set by management.
* Process cash receipts via Lockbox to outstanding invoices through matching of receipts to payment files.
* Manually enter data accurately from premium received or exception payments at a certificate level.
* Proactively route other certificate maintenance transactional documentation to appropriate area within Lender Services.
* Resolve any open items concerning receipt of payments timely.
* Responsible for processing all cash payments prior to month-end or the customer's next billing cycle.
* Utilize automated system procedures to upload payment data files and resolve any processing issues with file upload failures.
* Manage email correspondence and answer all incoming calls via cash application phone system.

This position requires that all workers be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and proof of vaccination will be required. Considerations will be made for those seeking Medical Exemption under ADA or Religious exemption under Title VII

Job Requirements


Your Qualifications:
* Associates Degree in Accounting/Finance or 3-5 yrs. accounts receivable experience.
* Ten-key by touch skills (Required 10,000 keystrokes per hour).
* Ability to process cash via Lockbox.
* Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail skills.
* Proven ability to process cash via multiple applications.
* Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
* Must have basic knowledge for functions within Microsoft Excel
* Ability to function effectively as part of a team, motivating and assisting others as needed
* Ability to remain flexible in a changing environment.
* Strong interpersonal skills; Solid written and oral communication skills. 
*Remote off site role   - must have home office setup please

* 3-5 yrs. accounts receivable experience
