Laboratory Automation & Workflow Integration Scientist
Location: Upper Providence, Collegeville, PA (100% Onsite)
Duration: 12-month contract with potential for extension
Education: Master's Degree Preferred (Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Automation, or related scientific discipline)
Contract Hourly Pay Range: $75 - $85 (depending on experience)
Position Summary
We are seeking a Scientific Automation & Workflow Integration Scientist to support the implementation and operationalization of automated analytical and purification workflows within an AI-enabled predictive synthesis environment supporting next-generation drug discovery.
You will work at the intersection of Analytical Chemistry, Predictive Synthesis, Automation, Informatics, Engineering, and Discovery Chemistry to help integrate new laboratory technologies, onboard analytical and purification equipment, support automated workcell deployment, and enable scalable, data-driven scientific workflows.
The successful candidate will serve as a key liaison between scientific stakeholders, automation teams, and equipment vendors to ensure successful implementation, startup, and optimization of next-generation automated laboratory capabilities.
