Alphanumeric is hiring a LOGISTICS ASSOCIATE to work in Zebulon, NC with our client of 20 years committed to improving lives through medical and pharmaceutical advancements

Pay Range: $22 - $26

Key Responsibilities: 
 
  • Warehousing: Administration and operation of warehouses, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment. 
  • Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures. 
  • Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space. 
  • Performs supply chain and logistics functions, which may include, but are not limited to inventory control, transportation, materials management, and distribution. 
  • Creates integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. 
  • Focuses resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes and establishes key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis. 
  • Match incumbents responsible for procurement or purchasing to the Procurement job family. 

 
Job Requirements

 

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience in purchasing and supply or certificate in storekeeping management / business administration
  • Expereince working with the following operating systems: MFG /PRO, JD Edwards
  • 3+ Years' experience in similar job level with proven track record in achieving results

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Proficiency with computers
  • Understanding of company processes and Systems
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and adequate knowledge of Planning and Inventory Control
  • Process thinker to enhance cross functional interaction with other departments
  • Ability to supervise others
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge in team building and customer care
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
