Alphanumeric is hiring a Project Manager - Level 3 to support our client of 20 years, a global leader committed to improving lives through medical and pharmaceutical advancements.
This role sits within Oncology Translational Medicine (OTM) and is responsible for driving the successful delivery of diagnostic and biomarker initiatives. The position blends alliance management with hands-on project execution, ensuring alignment across internal stakeholders and external partners while maintaining compliance, timelines, and budget.
Key Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional teams across Clinical Development, Operations, Biomarkers/Diagnostics, Data Management, Regulatory, Quality, Finance, Procurement, and Commercial
Establish and manage alliance governance (Joint Project Teams, Steering Committees), ensuring clear documentation of decisions, actions, and follow-ups
Partner with scientific and business leaders to define objectives, success metrics, roles, and integrated project plans
Manage scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and issues; proactively resolve challenges to protect key milestones
Serve as the primary interface with external partners, ensuring delivery against scope, cost, quality, and timelines
Translate contractual agreements into operational plans (milestones, reporting, financial triggers, data exchange, publications)
Track budgets, forecasts, and payments; coordinate contracting activities and invoice reconciliation with Finance/Procurement
Maintain accurate, audit-ready project documentation to support governance and regulatory requirements
Support lifecycle activities including deal execution, amendments, renegotiations, and alliance transitions
Drive continuous improvement by sharing best practices and lessons learned across teams
Requisitos
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, or related field
7+ years of experience in project/program management and/or alliance management within pharma, biotech, or diagnostics
Experience supporting biomarker and/or diagnostic development programs
Foundational knowledge of pharmaceutical R&D and commercialization processes
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree (MS, PhD, or MBA)
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification
Experience with data, AI, or real-world evidence initiatives
Background in business development and supporting partnership negotiations
Strong understanding of drug development, clinical trials, and commercialization pathways
Experience working in partnered environments and managing complex alliances
Knowledge of compliance, risk management, and inspection readiness
Proficiency with tools such as MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and collaboration platforms (MS Teams/WebEx)
Experience with reporting/analytics tools (e.g., Power BI or similar)
