Alphanumeric is hiring a Business Process Analyst (GPS Practitioner) to support our client of 20+ years, a global leader committed to improving lives through medical and pharmaceutical advancements.
The Global Production System (GPS) is the continuous improvement framework used across Global Supply Chain to drive standardization, operational excellence, and sustainable performance with the goal of achieving Zero Accidents, Zero Defects, and Zero Waste.
The Site GPS Practitioner plays a key role in embedding continuous improvement practices across the Zebulon site. This individual will partner with site leadership and operational teams to deploy GPS standards, drive Lean initiatives, and build a strong culture of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Deploy the Global Production System (GPS) program according to company standards and the global OneGPS roadmap for assigned value streams.
Serve as a subject matter expert in Lean and continuous improvement, modeling GPS behaviors and Lean leadership practices.
Lead site-level continuous improvement initiatives to improve performance in safety, quality, service, cost, and innovation.
Partner with site leadership to build a culture of continuous improvement and develop GPS capabilities across all levels of the organization.
Facilitate Kaizen events, DMAIC workshops, accelerators, and structured problem-solving sessions.
Coach, train, and mentor employees on Lean methodologies, GPS standards, and CI best practices.
Conduct site self-assessments against GPS maturity matrices and support the development of action plans to close performance gaps.
Support the Site Leadership Team in identifying financial and operational benefits from GPS initiatives.
Track and measure project performance using dashboards, metrics, and reporting tools, ensuring stakeholders remain informed on progress and risks.
Partner cross-functionally to identify risks, process gaps, and resource constraints, implementing mitigation plans as needed.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Manufacturing, Engineering, Life Sciences, Quality, Logistics, or related field
Experience
7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a demonstrated record of driving improvement initiatives and culture change
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Bronze certification required
Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt preferred
Preferred Experience
Experience across manufacturing operations such as Production, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Logistics, or Safety
Strong experience in Lean manufacturing, process improvement, and change management
