We are seeking an Application Support Developer with strong experience in Pick BASIC / UniVerse MultiValue environments, ideally supporting TCS (The Collector System), also known as CUBS (Columbia Ultimate Business Systems). This role supports a mission-critical collections platform and focuses on ongoing application support, enhancements, and system stability in a fully remote environment.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working within TCS/CUBS or closely related Pick/MultiValue systems, and is comfortable supporting legacy platforms that remain essential to daily business operations.
Responsibilities
Provide hands-on application support and configuration for TCS / The Collector System (CUBS)
Develop, modify, and maintain programs and subroutines using Pick BASIC / UniVerse
Support and enhance batch processing, workflows, and backend system functions
Maintain and modify PROCs, scripts, and scheduled jobs
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes
Support Linux/UNIX environments, including scripting and job scheduling
Collaborate with technical leads and stakeholders to recommend and implement solutions
Participate in remote meetings to review requirements, progress, and system needs

Required Skills & Experience
Hands-on experience with Pick BASIC / UniVerse MultiValue environments
Strong application support and troubleshooting background
Experience supporting financial, collections, AR, or billing systems
Ability to work independently in a remote production environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
