* Education and/or Experience: Bachelor Degree in Engineering required. Masters is desirable. Minimum eight (8) years of technical experience required. Preference is experience with heat exchangers/vessels (Shell and Tube, and Air Cooled Exchangers). Power Plant, Japan-related or other International business experience is a plus.
* Background Preference: The preferred type of engineer for this position will come from the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) world or heat exchanger manufacturing, and be very familiar with the ASME code, CSA code, API standards and TEMA standards. Engineer should also have experience using heat transfer equipment design software such as HTRI. Someone that has some manufacturing and/or field troubleshooting experience is desired. The engineer should have both thermal and mechanical design experience with heat exchangers (shell and tube, and air coolers).
* Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations in English language. Ability to write, in English language, reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Japanese, Spanish and Portuguese language skills are not mandatory, but beneficial.
* Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Acrobat Writer, Excel, etc.). Knowledge of database, project management, graphics, technical diagrams, flow-charts, etc.
