Alphanumeric is hiring an Inventory Control Specialist to work first shift in Orlando, FL with an environmental-friendly energy innovator focused on sustainability. 

The Parts Kits Inventory Operator maintains the perpetual inventory of all outage parts kits, provides incoming and outgoing parts kit inventories, provides recommended parts order lists, creates and maintains organization within parts kits.  Organization, attention to detail and communication are some of the key requisites for success in the role and maintaining all safety, quality processes guidelines to provide the best assistance to our internal and external customers.

12-month contract
$20 hourly

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
*    Maintain organization of outage parts kits;
*    Periodically review the parts kit inventory;
*    Communicate parts kit order fulfillment requirements;
*    Utilize safety procedures during inventory and stocking of parts kits;
*    Apply quality control procedures to maintain parts kit inventory;
*    Perform physical inventory of parts kits when they return from an outage and restock with replenishment parts for the next outage;
*    Provide feedback to parts kit inventory management regarding process development;
*    Practice forklift safety and operation;
*    Coordination of transportation of parts kits to plant sites.
*    Light overnight travel (up to 20%) by land and/or air. Potential domestic and international travel.
*    Look for areas to improve and streamline parts kit replenishment processes;
*    Perform other such duties as may be required.

*    Provide feedback to enhance process improvements.

*    Communicate effectively with subordinates and management at all levels.
*    Protect confidential information by not communicating, disclosing to or using for benefit of third parties.
*    Maintain drivers license and passport in good status.
*    Maintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity at all times.
*    Practice good housekeeping and maintain cleanliness of the warehouse and work areas

 
Job Requirements

 

Education and/or Experience: Technical or manufacturing certificate program from college or technical school; at least three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education with forklift operator and warehouse/shop/supply chain administration experience.
