Alphanumeric is hiring a QC LAB TECHNICIAN--MICROBIOLOGY to work in Lincoln, NE with an experienced manufacturer of leading global consumer health brands.

Conduct sampling and/or testing of micro, environmental monitoring, and/or participate in the additional support activities to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies' requirements and company standards.

* Develops knowledge of functional area policies and procedures and performs routine testing and/or sampling functions in microbiology laboratory.
* Develops an understanding of applicable, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) requirements, laboratory processes and procedures, utilization of good
documentation practices (GDPs) and other regulatory authority requirements.
* Maintains all training requirements for assigned tasks.
* Works independently and/or in a team environment to meet or exceed established
objectives, applicable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Quality Performance Indicators (QPIs).
* Understands established internal and external customer expectations and maintains effective communication pathways.
* Contributes to projects as assigned and participates in continuous improvement efforts.

EHS Responsibilities - All Associates:

* Know, understand and comply with all Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) guidelines
* Report unsafe conditions
* Report all injuries, illnesses and hazardous materials releases
* Wear personal protective equipment
* Attend EHS training programs
* Follow all safe work procedures

Quality Responsibilities - All Associates:

* Adhere to all Quality Compliance standards (Data Integrity, QA, and QC, etc.)
* Adhere to QMS policy and regulatory requirements.

Education:
- High School diploma required
- Associates Degree or higher in a Science-related field or study preferred

Experience:
- Prior lab experience is preferred
- Prior cGMP and basic science background
- Experience with microbiology: environmental monitoring
- Experience in an education setting is suitable - great opportunity for recent grads - does not need to be OTJ experience to qualify
