Alphanumeric is hiring a Procurement Manager to work in Zebulon, NC with our client of 20 years committed to improving lives through medical and pharmaceutical advancements.
As Senior Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for driving and leading the performance management of all key initiatives and projects, across multiple categories of spend and cross functionally across the wider business, to ensure the delivery of key business objectives and benefits.
LOCATION: CW will need to be physically in the Zebulon manufacturing location 3 day / week, with flexibility to work from home on the other days
HOURLY PAY: $72
Procurement Management:
* Lead the Procurement function across the Zebulon manufacturing site (Directs and Indirects)
* Develop and manage the Site supply base to meet requirements: assurance of supply, quality, regulatory, service, cost, and innovation to control costs in a fast-moving environment. Adapt and respond to regularly changing business requirements.
* For specific Categories, actively negotiate contracts.
* Reduce the Directs, Manufacturing & Indirects costs across the Sites. Support the reduction of end-to-end total costs of the site.
* Coordinate support from multiple Category teams and work within a matrix organization.
Business strategy:
* Develop and propose long and short-term plans to improve Procurement processes to enhance the overall performance of the Site
* Manage the interfaces between Procurement and the Site, balancing the expectations of both Procurement and Site stakeholders.
* Ensure that Site requirements are considered within the definition and implementation of Global Category strategies
* Develop and implement Procurement strategies for local categories of spend that clearly meet business requirements
Team:
* You will manage a team of 1 Procurement professional based at the Zebulon manufacturing location
* Responsible to select, train, supervise, develop and evaluate local team. Lead and motivate team members towards the pursuit of operational excellence and attainment of best practices. In addition, promote empowerment and process ownership
