Alphanumeric is hiring a QC LAB TECHNICIAN to work in Waverly, NE with our client of 20 years committed to improving lives through medical and pharmaceutical advancements.

DURATION: 9 months (may be potential for extension based on the needs of the business.
HOURLY PAY: $24.50


Overview/Summary: Tech role, preparing solutions for analyst; maintain a clean/orderly lab, clean concise documentation

Conduct sampling and/or testing of micro, environmental monitoring, and/or participate in the additional support activities to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies' requirements and company standards.

* Develop knowledge of functional area policies and procedures and performs routine testing and/or sampling functions in microbiology laboratory.
* Develop an understanding of applicable, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) requirements, laboratory processes and procedures, utilization of good
documentation practices (GDPs) and other regulatory authority requirements.
* Maintain all training requirements for assigned tasks.
* Work independently and/or in a team environment to meet or exceed established
objectives, applicable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Quality Performance Indicators (QPIs).
* Understand established internal and external customer expectations and maintains effective communication pathways.
* Contribute to projects as assigned and participates in continuous improvement efforts.

EHS Responsibilities - All Associates:
* Know, understand and comply with all Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) guidelines
* Report unsafe conditions
* Report all injuries, illnesses and hazardous materials releases
* Wear personal protective equipment
* Attend EHS training programs
* Follow all safe work procedures

Quality Responsibilities - All Associates:
* Adhere to all Quality Compliance standards (Data Integrity, QA, and QC, etc.)
* Adhere to QMS policy and regulatory requirements.

 
Job Requirements

 

Minimum Requirements:
Education:
- High School diploma required
- Associates Degree or higher in a Science-related field or study preferred
Experience:
- Prior lab experience is preferred
- Prior cGMP and basic science background
- Experience with microbiology: environmental monitoring
- Experience in an education setting is suitable - great opportunity for recent grads - does not need to be OTJ experience to qualify
