PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB AND CONTRIBUTION TO ORGANIZATION:
Responsible for ensuring timely, accurate new loan funding wire transfers from warehouse banks, manager warehouse transfers, communicate with warehouse banks and provide service to branches relating to loan funding. Support the funding and loan accounting department in accounting for funding entries, purchase wires, cash forecasting and other responsibilities as assigned.
ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must comply with all BSA/AML requirements as well as any mandatory changes. The following job functions are not all-inclusive. The associate will be required to perform other job-related tasks/responsibilities requested by the manager. Job duties may change as required by needs of company. Must complete all required industry and compliance training as required by Plaza Home Mortgage.
1. Provide required documentation and wire instructions to 8+ warehouse banks to fund an average of 115 loans per day based on determined criteria
2. Balance wires requested in LOS system to wires sent by warehouse banks
3. Provide warehouse banks with documentation, spreadsheets or uploads to identify investor wires received for purchase and pay down of loans
4. Transfer loans between warehouse banks as necessary
5. Initiate individual additional wires for loans funded as necessary
6. Provide customer service to the branches and warehouse banks regarding funding issues but not limited to ensuring that branches provide required documentation, providing branches with fed wired references, etc.
7. Pull purchase advice from all investors, review for pricing discrepancies, settle all purchase wires on warehouse line
8. Assist with daily cash forecasting
9. Daily funding / purchase balancing as business needs
10. Reconcile warehouse cash lines daily
11. Reconcile warehouse availability daily
12. Update / publish daily cash position
13. Pre-vet all NY closings agents as well as new agents on all warehouse lines
14. Liaison through repurchase process
15. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
? High school degree or equivalent with knowledge of the mortgage banking industry (familiarity with loan documents), wiring system, or cash management experience
? Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
? Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to consistently prioritize and produce accurate work within set deadlines
? Ability to manage time and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with heavy volume of transactions
? Strong commitment to customer and associate service
? Excellent problem-solving skills and aptitude to use independent judgment skills to make quick decisions within written policy and standard operating procedures
? Ability to successfully work in both a team and individual environment
? Experience with data file transfers
? Proficiency with computer systems at an intermediate to advanced level including MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Internet Browsers

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
This position receives occasional guidelines and instructions from AVP, Treasury. Incumbent makes decisions within scope of job responsibilities and within written policy and standard operating procedures. The incumbent's work is occasionally reviewed by manager.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
INTERACTION WITH OTHERS:
Internally: This position interacts with Corporate executives, managers, and staff (including the Secondary Marketing, Shipping, Servicing, Loss Mit and Accounting departments). The Treasury Analysis also interacts with Branch Management and staff (including underwriters closers, and funders).
Externally: Interacts frequently with external approved bankers, investors, Plaza custodian(s), and other industry partners.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF JOB:
This position requires constant talking, hearing, and use of hands and fingers, as well as frequent standing and walking as well as occasional stooping, kneeling, twisting, turning, bending at waist, crouching and reaching with hands and arms. Incumbent must be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Good vision at both close range and at distance is required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND SPECIAL CONDITIONS:
This position works primarily indoors in an office setting with occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions. A moderate noise level is typical for the work environment of this job. Some rare travel by car or plane may be required.
